Thinking-Cap-Sustainable-Community-illo.jpg

Cap Mall has proudly served the North Shore for over 50 years.

Over that time, Cap Mall has become an important community gathering place and provider of family-oriented retail. Now it’s time to think about how it can meet the community’s needs into the future. We began this process in 2019 but were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to be restarting our process and sharing our 8 big ideas with you. Your feedback on the 8 big ideas, along with technical considerations, will help us in developing a vision to guide the future planning of the Cap Mall site. This plan will be created in collaboration with the City of North Vancouver.

Public Information Meeting

Thank you to those who attended our in-person public information meeting at Cap Mall on June 28. The purpose of this event was to:

  • Re-introduce the community to QuadReal and provide context behind this project

  • Share what we’ve heard from the community to date

  • Gather feedback on our big ideas

If you were not able to attend in person, please review the project materials by viewing the video below, which verbally and visually walks you through the material shared at the in person event, or by downloading a PDF of the display boards

Our comment form is now closed. If you have any questions, or would like to provide your feedback, please contact our project team by emailing info@futureofcapmall.com
